蘋果昨天宣佈美國Broward County Public Schools 購入三萬部iBook G4給校內幼稚園至到第十二班(香港的F.6) 學生使用。學校購入的iBook是日前剛面世最新型號。蘋果Worldwide sales and operations 的副總裁Tim Cook 表示 “We’re excited to work with Broward County to provide students with the best learning tools available.

對於學生們用iBook 來學習有何好處，他有以下的見解”Thousands of schools across the country have improved academic achievement with the help of Apple’s education solutions, and the addition of 30,000 iBooks will do much to help provide students with necessary 21st century skills.”

他說的「21世紀必備技能」是指甚麼呢？上網？收發電郵？
