蘋果和 Google 因了解而分開之後， AppleInsider 傳聞蘋果不想 iPhone 倚賴 Google 服務太多。現時 iPhone 的網路搜尋及地圖都是使用 Google 。有傳聞蘋果會於 iPhone 4.0 更新時改用微軟的 Bing 。
這是蘋果和微軟的再一次合作。對上一次已經是 Mac OS （還要是 OS 9 ）預設安裝 IE 了。

Bad move! I want Google not Bing. Hope Apple allow me to set “Google” as the default search engine.
