蘋果將降低產品的邊際利潤率

Econ 101: 邊際利潤率（Profit Margin）即是一件貨物售價減去成本之後的利潤除以售價。（Net profit after taxes / Net Sales）

據 AppleInsider 報道，今次蘋果 Q3 營利發報會， CFO 奧本默特指出今季蘋果的邊際利潤率由上季的 34.8%降至 31.5% 。奧本默特指出，蘋果的邊際利潤率會因為一件產品改朝換代而在 2009 年將整體邊際利潤率減至 30% ，目的是增加競爭力。現時蘋果的邊際利潤率太高，成為競爭者的「雨傘」，其他競爭者可降低售價爭佔市場。至於這件會改朝換代的產品是甚麼，蘋果方面沒有公佈。

作為消費者，蘋果降低邊際利潤，令我們可以更低價格買到蘋果產品。

食正呢期低階 sub note 既勢，如果整一部 eeePC 咁既 Mac ，而價錢又大眾化，都幾吸引～

I think the problem is the cost(成本) is getting higher and higher from the factory, with selling price cannot increase, for sure the Profit margin is getting lower. So I don’t expect to see a significant drop on price of Apple product.
