Published by Chainsaw February 20th, 2008 in Apple Computer.蘋果推出新版本 Xsan 2 。 Xsan 為蘋果重新包裝由 Quantum 開發的 StorNext File System ，主要用作設立 Storage Area Network 。新版本加入更易用的使用界面、 MultiSAN 及 Spotlight 搜尋 SAN 等等。售價為 999 美元。
此外，蘋果自家品牌的 Xserve RAID 亦於同一天停售。 蘋果改在網頁建議 Xserve 用戶可考慮 Promise 的 RAID 陣列來配合 Xsan 使用。
