個人覺得Apple 不在香港開iTunes Store 並不是本地Podcast 聽眾多少有關。Podcast 之於iTunes Store 來說是增值服務，iTunes Store 不會因Podcast 賺錢，只會帶動iPod 銷量。

問題係雙向o既，Apple在亞洲區除左日本，無論iPod或者Mac銷量計番人口比例其實唔算高。而Apple Hk眾所週知話事能力有限，其實都係睇美國總部頭。

另一邊箱仲要睇番本地唱片公司。你話香港業界都開始網上賣歌，係冇錯，不過佢地既拍擋都係本地公司，而唔係外國公司。

14/9 香港 apple 有記招, 推出 iMac/ mac mini/ iPod 同iTunes等新產品, 呢次係我有記憶之中, 香港apple 出新野第二快的一次, 最快一次係出10.3, 那次香講係 world wide 第二個地方推出的, 不過到場的就只有 4 個記者… 有人遲到, 有人早退(我)
今次係出得快.. 不過呢, ipod/ itunes 最殺食的Store 就冇份, 我問左 Tony, 佢話, AP 暫時冇plan 推出 iTMS… 大家都係叫在日本/美國的fd 買 iTMS Card 寄返來用啦…
不過iPod nano Color真係幾靚

其實香港業界都開始網上賣歌, 為何 Apple 仍然故步自封, 不肯在香港辦 iTunes Store? 其實, Apple 在香港辦 iTunes Store, 可為大中華業界帶來強烈的信息, 表示願意有決心對付盜版. 既然 iPod 系列在香港銷情不俗, Apple 應該在香港推出iTunes Store, 帶動香港整體 iPod 系列的銷情.

另外, 香港 Podcast 發展不及日本、美國, 甚至內地, 原因之一除了聽廣東話的Podcast人數太少, Apple 不在香港發展 iTunes Store 亦是其中一個因素.

更奇怪的是現時美國 iTunes Store 有賣廣東歌(i.e 有劉華同許冠傑)，唱片公司班鬼佬都識得在美國賣廣東歌，偏偏香港班高層就漠視呢個渠道。

that would be great, like amazon.com, or co.uk, or co.jp, which we may use as we like. and it could be easier if local music is excluded. unfortunately, the records companies, here amd there, r anything but nice and friendly, and apple hk is anything but proactive and agressive.

if itune music store only serves to promote the sale of ipod, and as long as ipod is selling sufficiently well (to their satisfaction) in hongkong without a store, or as long as they think an itune store wont help sale of ipod here, why bother?

以下是我個人意見，不代表MG立場。

就算蘋果不搞iTunes Store HK，我實在不介意用iTunes Store US。只要iTunes Store US可以特別容許香港信用卡購買，又或正式在港開賣iTunes 點數卡。反正數碼下載又不用Shipping。
一壇過。互聯網理應帶給我們這種方便。

不過，唱片公司香港分壇實媽媽聲。

小弟一向盼望香港有itune music store, 耐何香港apple既operation實在細, 好似仲要睇星加波頭,　又同本地其他企業無咩連繫,　邊有能力傾得成搞得出!　加上本地唱片公司,　同外國果d一樣,　都想自己玩,　或者自己友玩,　美國就話 itune music store 搶左頭啖湯,　定晒價同玩法,　香港就掉轉,　加上香港MS比apple大同進取,　自然開親檔都用windows media既制式,　香港apple要追上仲開得成,　更難!

After I got my iTMS account last July, I actually spend more then $1000 HKD just on English songs. If they have new Chinese songs, I really don’t mind to spend even more.

我記得當年steve 推 iTune & iPod 時，佢就係話 iTune 最大的 enemy 係 private download, 而唔係 XX 唱片公司， iTune 就係要 fight 低人地 download 非法音樂，所以，如果講香港用得太多非法音樂而唔係香港攪，我覺得唔係好講得通，我反而係覺得係 apple HK 辦事不力，或者係香港唱片介以為唔用 iTune 都可以自己攪得掂，肥水不流別人田….. 鞋~
