蘋果歷史101：蘋果的第一

Applematters的James R Stoup回顧了蘋果的一些「第一」 ，也討論了成為「第一」的代價。James回顧了Mac是第一次將Ethernet, CD ROM, TV Tuner Card, USB, Firewire, Wifi等等成為電腦的基本配備。蘋果也是第一個生產PDA, 生產易用MP3 player和成功的正版音樂下載服務等等等等。
James在文中指現時的Windows電腦仍有Floppy機。Mac只用過3.5吋細碟。還有人記得5.25吋的大碟【圖】嗎？
My teacher friend ask me when he saw Macmini, how could people put the data into machine, I said just use CD-R,USB drivve or download from net…and then…he siad what about floopy drive? and then I said loudly no one is using floopy drive right now! he felt quite shocked…and then silence….it seems that floopy still rocks in warmhouse teaching industry……
Floppy is still useful in HK.
When I’m in primary school,many classmates saved their projects in a floppy.About a year ago,my floppy drive in my PC was broken.It’s really quite inconvenience for me…..
