Remote Desktop 3推出

蘋果一直有推出一個名為Remote Desktop的軟件，主要用於學校電腦室，讓管理人員可以看到網絡上電腦的畫面，以至遙控其他電腦。網絡上的Mac, Linux甚至Windows機也可控制，因為Remote Desktop可支援VNC。
蘋果剛剛推出Remote Desktop 3，是UB版軟件。新版本整合了Tiger的新功能如Automator, Widget等等，也加入了遙距Drag and drop檔案和Copy and paste資料。Remote Desktop 3也加入了Asset Management，可將網絡上的電腦資料（如已安裝的軟件版本，PCI卡資料），匯入SQL伺服器，以Spotlight搜尋。
